Location: Food Co-op Annex, 2110 Lawrence, Port Townsend

Time: Thursday mornings 9 - 11:30, March 21 - April 25th

Cost: $50 for class and a suggested donation of $10 to attend a Saturday seed starting workshop (4/6) and field trip (4/20)

This 6-week in-person course will include lectures and activities on the following vegetable garden essentials:

  • Garden design, site conditions and considerations;
  • Soil health, amendments and improvements;
  • Seed starting
  • Crop rotation, cover crops and plant families
  • Season extenders
  • Common disease and insect problems
  • Pollinator and beneficial insects
